Who I am

Hi, I’m Tanguy, a backend software engineer with a background in building APIs, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure. I’m currently focused on expanding into machine learning infrastructure, reinforcement learning, and systems programming while documenting everything I learn along the way.

What I work on

Right now, most of my work revolves around:

Backend development with Python, FastAPI, and modern API design. Cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and AWS. Reinforcement learning and game AI through OpenSpiel. Learning machine learning infrastructure by building real projects.

Why this notebook exists

This isn’t meant to be a polished portfolio or a traditional blog. It’s an engineering notebook where I keep track of what I’m building, learning, and figuring out as I go. Some notes are polished, others are just experiments, ideas, or lessons learned after getting something wrong.

If someone else finds them useful, that’s a nice bonus but the main goal is to create a place where I can document my progress and hopefully look back in a few years to see how far I’ve come.
